Excellent Advice for Newbies Starting Out in Internet Marketing

Posted by: Vip  /  Category: Ecommerce

build a home online business

IT’S HUMAN NATURE TO BE OBSESSED ABOUT THE INITIATION OF ANY FRESH UNDERTAKING AT THE START, AND THEN:

In the distant past I was the director of a health club. There was always a HUGE influx in business starting after everyone made their New Year’s resolutions. Initiatives were initiated by all those who resolved to be in shape by “this time next year”.

Of course you can guess what took place after that.  By February 1, fully 1/2 of those who started a program had forgot all about their resolution and quit. By first of March all but a a small number of of the New Years’ members  were finding something else to do with their time. Out of the whole newbies crowd, only a couple would still be coming in to work out “this time next year”.

I see the same blueprint with newbie Internet marketers. GUNG HO is their keyword at the first. But increasingly, their failure to make a whole hearted commitment  weeds them out.

OK, I’LL COME TO THE POINT.

It’s the nature of all humans to have that evil “lazy gene”…nearly everyone that is reading this. It’s a really simpler to wake up, go to work, come home to eat, watch some TV, and then do it again the next day.

That’s called a “RUT”.

Where will you be by “this time next year”?

Of course by what happened last year, you know what the answer is.

SUSTAINED ACTION ON IMPLEMENTING YOUR PLAN: 1ST ORDER TO HAVING THE BENEFIT OF ACHIEVEMENT:

In one of Clement Stone’s books, he writes about the fundamental requirement for achievement being the capability of taking sustained action. Stone points out that the degree of “taking action” is directly proportional to one’s discontentment with the existing way things stand.

Saying it another way, if if you want a better life, you have to WANT IT badly enough to take some initiative and go after it!

I was in that boat and I DID want it badly enough. I took the action and I’m reaping the rewards. I understand the level of effort needed to achieve success and change old patterns.

It’s time for me  to help you.

I want you to look back “this time next year” with a proud feel of accomplishment for what you have achieved.

Here’s an email from a beginner asking the typical “how to get started in internet marketing” question.  You can read it and my reply here:

If you want a dramatically different life by “this time next year”, let’s get started!

I look forward to working with you soon!

Will credit cards soon be obsolete?

Posted by: Vip  /  Category: Ecommerce

Introducing A New Payment Method That Could Make Credit Cards Obsolete

At Contactless, a leading provider of advanced, open-standard contactless chip technologies, and First Data, a global leader in electronic commerce and payment processing services, announced that they have signed a three-year agreement in developing contactless payment stickers, which First Data will market as GO-Tag products. Within the agreement, INSIDE will supply the MicroPass payment sticker prelams only to First Data-qualified card manufacturers for production.

The agreement helps leverage the core technology from INSIDE Contactless and First Data’s issuing and transaction processing power. First Data will be marketing and distributing GO-Tag products to financial institutions, major U.S. merchants, and other distribution channels in a variety of form factors.

General manager of Mobile Commerce and Point of Sale Solutions for First Data, Barry McCarthy, said that “First Data’s GO-Tag Solution represents an important step in the evolution from today’s plastic cards and fobs, offering a bridge to the future of mobile payments”. “Our partnership with INSIDE Contactless enables us to offer consumers an opportunity to turn just about any personal item, from a mobile phone to an employee ID badge, into a payment device.”

It’s the versatility of the MicroPass platform to support a variety of contactless payment applications and form factors, including stickers, that highlights their agreement.

As Contactless credit card technology becomes more common in the marketplace, it would be a good idea to update your restaurant POS system with them in the near future. And we all know that customer service is all about the speed and fast transaction to a restaurant point of sale terminal, the better the service is the better your customer experience will reflect on the value of your services.

Comparing Between Vinyl Replacement Windows

Posted by: Vip  /  Category: Ecommerce

There are a number of vinyl replacement windows articles that I have written before. Every time I consider various aspects of the topic. Today I have picked some few brands that I want us to compare. This article is not only limited to these so do read right to the end.

You might also be interested in: replacement window companies, window replacement review, replacement windows review comparison

You can purchase the Milgard Tuscany vinyl windows for your residential home. I have found them to work great except that they do not tilt-in especially the single hung one. The result is that it’s difficult when trying to clean them. Besides all that when I reviewed the other brands like Amerimax, Atrium and Simonton – Milgard was the cheapest of them all.

Next to consider is Anlin. In my opinion these are fine but I have heard someone who had bought them in an attempt to save energy informing me that they didn’t perform as good. Don’t be hoodwinked by the sales person saying these are the best energy saving windows. I guess there are better options when looking for energy efficient ones. apart from that, these operate well, however, they highly priced.

You can also try your luck with Polybau. I personally cannot complain about their price – when compared to some I have seen. The only problem that I have picked up with these is the service offered by the seller. Although I do not have personal encounter with this but I have read in my blog complaints about how the service guys are always late or don’t even show up.

Then there is also Amerimax. They are genuinely nice. One thing I like about them is that they make the house a quieter and these are really energy efficient. The double hung ones are easy to clean so you might opt for those.

Also on the list is Pella – this is a good company with great windows but I am not happy with their Pella ThermaStar. I am of the view that they are low-quality vinyl windows for those people wanting a cheap price.

When thinking about vinyl replacement windows – look at various things not just the price. You need to consider at the service, durability, functionality and proximity of the supplier.

What Should I Know Before I Start an Ecommerce Business?

Posted by: Vip  /  Category: Ecommerce

Anyone who wants to start an Internet business must consider what specialized skills need to be learned before undertaking the new venture.

What you need to know about should not cause you a great deal of worry. How thoroughly you need to master each skill will be influenced by the extent to which you want to do the tasks yourself as opposed to hiring the work to be done by others already skilled in their specializations.

Just as with any business start-up, you should consult with your own trusted professionals. For example, be sure to bring your insurance representative up to speed on your plans, get information from you accountant and talk to an attorney about regulations in your jurisdiction, recommended business structure, and so forth.

While those concerns are important for any business enterprise, this article is about those specialized skills and knowledge areas that are essential for an Internet business. We’ll look at the knowledge areas that you or someone associated with your business, whether it is you, a partner, someone you employ or a company with which you contract to perform some of the specialized tasks involved.

Basic Computer Knowledge: You don’t really need to be particularly sophisticated about computers to be able to start an Internet business. Easily installed and simply used software makes many of the relevant tasks quite simple for anyone who is able to use email and a world processing system. Of course, if you do happen to be a computer whiz, you will be able to learn to use the tools more quickly. However, if you are only barely or moderately computer literate, you must be willing to spend more money on the helpful software that will better overcome those shortcomings.

Search Engine Optimization: SEO, as this is usually called, has to do with attracting traffic to your website. Specifically it involves building and promoting your site in such a way that the major search engine will list your site, preferably very high in the rankings, when a web visitor enters a search term that is relevant to your business’s products, services or information.

Web Design: Decisions must be made concerning the goals for your website and how the site should look in a way consistent with reaching those goals. Only then does someone need to build the site in a way that maximizes your opportunity to meet the business’s objectives. A word of caution: Designing for the web is definitely not the same as designing for other media, such as print or television. Study other successful websites of businesses similar to yours. Pay particular attention to how easy or difficult it is for the visitor to find the information that she or he is looking for and, most importantly, to perform the desired action (buy a product, request a quote for services, etc.). Usability, not beauty, is the ultimate test of a design.

Writing for the Web: There is almost no skill more important in Internet marketing than writing. If you are not a writer, don’t fret. People with lots of experience in writing for the web and with excellent skills are abundant. Writing is one of those tasks that you can hire done rather inexpensively. You can actually find an Internet (or web) writing service that specializes in writing for Internet marketers. But if you don’t have the resources to hire good writers as often as needed, or if you don’t have the skills to do your own writing, consider another venue for your business.

Patience: In any business, it takes a while to begin to see positive cash flow. Don’t be fooled by headlines and advertisements that promise great wealth in a few weeks or a few months by employing these supposedly “secret” techniques. You have a better chance of getting rich in a hurry by buying a lottery ticket. Persevere, and you can succeed.

There are plenty of good resources on the Internet to help you learn the skills you don’t have and further hone those that you do. A great deal of the knowledge you need to acquire is available online for free. Unfortunately, much of that information is wrong. You can often learn what you need to know much more quickly by purchasing high quality information or hiring consultants. However, if you are very patient, you can learn almost everything on your own and without much cost. In fact you can often register for valuable cost-free instruction such as a how to start an Internet business course, which also should point you to other valuable learning resources and tested software.
